According to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, we are obliged to inform you that:

I. The personal data collected for the purposes connected with the operations of “Architectus” magazine are controlled by Politechnika Wrocławska, Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 27, 50-370 Wrocław. The data controller can be contacted in writing (at the address of the controller’s registered office) or with the use of the form and details published at www.pwr.edu.pl/kontakt (selecting the appropriate addressee). The data controller has appointed Personal Data Protection Officer (PDPO) who can be contacted with regard to the processing of personal data and exercising the rights regarding the processing of personal data by e-mail at: IOD@pwr.edu.pl

II. Your personal data shall be processed:

  1. To develop and perform the contract.
  2. To execute the publication process connected with the publishing of work.
  3. To react to the information sent to the Editorial Office at the e-mail address/contact form.
  4. To execute the subscriptions for free electronic newsletters.
  5. To send copyrighted issues of printed works.
  6. To publish the first name, last name, scientific title and affiliation as an Author/Reviewer/Editor/Editorial Board Member.
  7. To provide research bases with access to data in Poland and abroad.

III. Your personal data shall be stored during the period of developing and executing the publication process. After this process is over we shall continue to process the personal data over the period in compliance with the regulations applicable in that respect (in the scope of booking and accounting records, filing regulations which apply to the controller). In justified cases we shall keep the data over the period which is necessary to elapse until the statute of limitation on claims is over). In the case when we collect your data in connection with providing access to them in international science and knowledge bases, the processing of such data shall continue indefinitely and the data shall be available in the Internet.

IV. We do not collect data for the purpose of profiling and we shall not use data to take automated decisions in the matters concerning you. We shall not provide access without your knowledge to your personal data to third countries outside the area where GDPR and data protection standards provided in this Regulation apply.

V. You are entitled to access to your data and correct them. Furthermore, you can exercise your right: to delete your data, to limit their processing, to transfer your data, to raise objections as well as to revoke your consent – if it was the only premise of the processing of data by the controller. The revocation of the consent shall not affect the compliance with the law of what the controller did with the data before its revocation. These rights can be exercised by making contact at the e-mail address provided at the Publisher’s website.

VI. You have the right to appeal to the supervisory body dealing with the processing of personal data in the member state of your normal residence, your workplace or the place where the alleged violation was committed. In Poland it is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PPDPO) which is located at the following address: Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, tel.: 22 860 70 869.

VII. The provision of your personal data is necessary to perform the controller’s operations in connection with the publishing of “Architectus” magazine, including the regular operations of the magazine, reporting, filing documentation of published works, settling their costs and for correspondence with you.
