Abstract

This text outlines the history of the organ built by the Gebrüder Rieger company in 1929 for the auditorium of Technische Hochschule Breslau. This instrument was an important part of the original equipment of the main building of the technical university in Wrocław.

The article presents the circumstances of the instrument’s creation, its technical specifications, and its fate in subsequent decades. The architectural context of the auditorium and the organ’s significance in the cultural life of the university are also discussed.
